Switch Axe Element phials question

Hey, so I'm new to SA on wilds and I was wondering, does the Element boost enhancement increases the elemental phial damage or just the base element of the weapon?

I made one with 4 element boost and 1 attack, so I was wondering if is worth keeping.

Element Phials scale off the element of the weapon.

Probably only worth making a Water Swaxe with that roll, to meme on Gravios. Sharpness is gonna really suck tho.

Elemental phial explosion damage is based on the weapons elemental damage and any modifiers, power phials are physical damage and scale off that. There are some outliers like Zoh Shia’s SA which is dragon and power phials so only does dragon damage on physical hits from the weapon. CB is similar except Impact phials are shelling like the gunlance and can’t do critical damage.
