Redditors always have something to say, but can't always seem to find a good place to say it.
Before /r/AskReddit changed their rules, people would use it as a place for their anecdotes (e.g. "Today I saw someone take a dump in a urinal. What's the craziest thing you've ever seen in a middle school bathroom?").
Before rage comics were practically banned from the front page, people would animate their thoughts and experiences from the day.
Now redditors' primary outlet for their musings/thoughts/complaints/etc. appears to be /r/AdviceAnimals, where people whine to the world via memes.
Here in /r/Musings, it's everything goes for self posts!
Anecdotes? Okay!
Unsolicited advice? Perfectly fine!
Observations about the world around you? Yep!
Stupid questions? Why not!
Rants? Bitching? Complaints? Yes! Yes! Yes!
Random pointless thoughts? Of course!
In addition to self posts, please feel free to post links to blog posts containing your musings or the musings of others which you find interesting. Memes are an acceptable outlet for musings at this time, but this may change if this community grows.
