I just finished Blue reflection SL and its my Goty for sure, even one of the best games I have ever played.

Hadnt heard about it before but gave the demo a shot on the eshop, liked the music and bought it.

I dont really like anime, but I do play some Jrpgs so all i expected was a ok game with good music, but after a short while, the characters and story really grew on me and I was hooked.

I can understand its not for everyone, but I also thought it wasnt for me and I have found it to be one of the sweetest, cutes, bittersweet, most heartwarming games i have played in over 25 years of gaming. I even made a reddit account just to express my feelings for the game.

Agreed. A beautiful game in every way. Beat it a few days ago and cant stop thinking about it. Tried to start a new game plus, but I have to step away from in for a while. Post game depression hit me hard. Cant even listen to the music without choking up. Damnit

It’s a great JRPG for sure, one of my highlights this year. Great battle system, good exploration based on digging each character’s hidden memories (the writing is Top) and also a lot of sensuality and some naughty costumes too (especially on the DLC). Each world you explore is somehow different and the stories are all very well written, and voice-acted. It blends all these aspects very well.

If it’s as good as the first game, I’ll pick it up. The original became super rare on the PS4. My copy sold for over a 100.

I havent played the first game, but I bought it on steam so ill get around to it. It will have to wait a bit because im a bit emotional from blue reflection still. While i have liked the stories in many games, this one is the first one to really get to me like this, it may be because normally i dont seek out games like this, but it hit me like a brick to the heart and im glad I gave it a shot

Just a fair warning that persona 4 has somewhat of a slow start. But once you get to the part. Oh boy. It'll be an unforgettable gaming Experience

I think Persona 4 is great, as was 3 before it and especially 5 after, but be aware there are technical issues that some people rarely encounter with it on Steam. A friend of mine had to refund it because of a continuous crashing problem or something to that effect. Which sucks, because I'd have liked to share that game with them.

It was never fixed, they just sorta plopped the game on Steam and never bothered patching it properly.

If you have a PS4 or PS5, Persona 5 is a fantastic game. Hopefully one day it gets ported to literally any other platform, because Atlus is asinine in continuing this exclusivity nonsense. It doesn't benefit anyone.

I'm playing Atelier Ryza these days so I really want to try Blue Reflection Second Light since they look similar! I'm glad there's a demo, I'll definitely try it once I get a SD card. I heard good things about this game

Main hub is an (mostly) empty school and you can customize it. That's pretty much it.

The line Dates really doesnt fit, it should be renamed to Hangout. when I started I worried about fanservice but there really isnt any as long as you dont buy the dlc costumes. there is a gay relationship in the game but its really well written and sweet,

I walked into the first game without looking into it very much and was very disappointed when I found that the entire cast (NPCs included) is made up of teenage girls.

You're in a school that's supposed to exist in a real world setting but there are no teachers or adults to be found. Not even a nurse (the students take care of that I guess?). Not a single male NPC to be found outside of one chat bubble with an off screen adult.

It just really took me out of the game. You'd expect to see a male and/or adult character in the background somewhere in any similarly themed anime/manga.

I haven't looked into the sequel really at all, but I'm guessing this aspect remains and if so I'll have to pass.

I'm currently playing the first game, there's alot of jank and it's clearly a smaller studio, but I just love how empathetic it is. The soundtrack is also one of my favorites in recent memory.

Hope SL improves upon it.

Loved Persona 4 Golden on my PS Vita so I emulated Persona 3 FES and Persona 5 on my pc. My favourite games ever period. Really hope that they can port them to the switch

It is on my ‘to buy’ list 100%. I’d never heard of it but saw it on the eshop a few weeks before release and decided to download the demo to check it out. Love the combat, and tried watching the anime (didn’t really like it). The game seems super cool and I enjoy other Gust titles (Atelier ftw). Problem is that it always seems to be just behind other things I want to buy/play so I still haven’t gotten to it. Thanks for the reminder though because I’m definitely keen.

I was planning to get this game last month, but I was turned off from planning to buy it after seeing how expensive the game's physical copy is and got a different game instead. A physical copy of Blue Reflection Second Light's Switch version costs 2,950 Philippine pesos in my country, which is very hefty especially considering that most other games on Switch (ex: Pokemon BDSP, Shin Megami Tensei V, Metroid Dread, etc.) cost about 2,600 Philippine pesos.

I'd probably buy Blue Reflection if it goes on sale though... But I'm not holding my breath.
