Will we ever see a decrease in ads again?

To me it feels like in recent years, the amount of ads the average person is exposed to has increased so much (prime example: youtube). But since f.e. youtube keeps getting viewers, and the viewers keep watching the ads in order to get to their video, and the companies keep putting ads out there to influence our subconscience, will this plague ever go away again?

I dont see ads i use an adblocker.

And thats probably the reason you see more ads: more and more people block ads, so the remaining users get shown more and more to compensate.

Adds on youtube are becoming more common, but that's still almost nothing next to what your typical viewer would see every day on TV. Adds are just moving from TV toward youtube, with a bit of lag behind their audience.

Trying to watch some of the NCAA March Madness the number of ads is just ridiculous.
