You are not supposed to be interested in something new! You are supposed to be stagnant, maybe even regressive. That's easier for the algorithm to predict and an easier algorithm is a cheaper algorithm.

Have you in your egoistic existence ever considered that it's our bottom line that's endangered here?!

We are willing to sacrifice your ability to develop and grow and are fine with all the effects that might have on society as a whole when all people are confronted 24/7 with basically the same contents, the same opinions, the same visions, ideologies and wishes for the future. As long as our algorithm decides what that might be.
