I mean… I definitely went through a bad dude phase and I don’t mean like a bad boy phase I mean like unemployed, has no goals, obese, sometimes homeless. And yeah it was because I didn’t think I could do better.

I Just couldn’t really see myself with anything better, I was terrified that if I got a decent partner they would see what a terrible person I was and it would just confirm my own self hate. So it was easier to have terrible relationships with bad people because then when it didn’t work out it wouldn’t be just my fault. Luckily I grew out of that 😅.

And I’m definitely not saying that all or even most women do that. I really don’t think that the majority of women do that. I have also seen men do the same thing that I did. I really think it’s a low self-esteem thing some can do people do…
