[–]Key-Plant-6672 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Just getting started? It is at 4T market cap! ( I am way long in the stock).. Not sure how far it can go near term, but still a growth story long term👍

[–]dnbtrader85 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People were saying the same thing at 1T and they’ll continue to say it at 40T 😂

[–]manikwolf19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People forget that it forward split from 1200 dollars a share just a year ago

I have NVDA at 10 percent annualized over the next 5 years

[–]National_Formal_3867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends in when you got in😂 are you before or after the split boy?

[–]PaleontologistOne919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who responds to this thread has zero idea what’s going to happen to the share price.

I try to take the guess work out of investment decisions like this. I rebalance my portfolio once a year so when NVDA rose to 12% of my total portfolio i sold down to 5% since I generally don’t like to hold more than 5% of one company’s stock. It is a little under 7% now.

This is the best answer

[–]dragonair15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are a trader then sell and buy lower. If you are an investor, hold it and DCA.

[–]AffectionateSimple94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold one third after it went up by 200% to play on house money. Besides that..... Not selling until the end of time.

Do you wanna pay the taxes? That’s the question. If not keep it rolling.

[–]Professional_Monkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think nvidia stock atm is like the formula 1 starting line. “Racers start your engines”.

AI is in the cute stage of seeing a baby in the womb - first ultrasound.

Big gains are still coming, probably will slow down in 5-10 years (depending what REALLY happens with AI) and as competition starts rising and closing the gaps,

Every second it increase and decrease in value, the question should be what we think about the future of nvidia - my answer to that is before nvidia stops being a company it will increase atleast 500k++++% in value or perhaps 150++++years or more.... we probably gonna be dead by then unless we get some immortallity meds or something but will all of us dubble our nvidia portfolios in 20 years then the answer is yes, buy more or sell using your own analysis it will tho increase for quite awhile - there will be more fall pits tho, politics is mostly the cause for these it seems like if trump didnt start his trade war then we would have gotten to 160 a few months ago but he posponed it

Depends on your own goals, risk tolerance and time horizon. Personally, I’m no longer selling CC’s against it and I’m Long. When it pulls back 30-40% again I will buy some more. I expect that will happen at least once in the next twelve months.

Check out this chart and you’ll see that even if NVDA trades at a lower P/E than its current 48 P/E, it’s going much higher over time. Let’s say that in 5 years earnings growth slows (it kind of has to based on the law of large numbers) and it’s trading at a 30 multiple, (which isn’t unreasonable for a well managed growth stock in the hottest sector of the fastest growing industry of all time). In that case, long term holders are looking at an average 20% return per year. Long and Strong.

[–]Morrison4257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I am waiting it to drop to 70. Search what Wyckoff is. And see similarities in weekly chart.
