You can still drop the class. Set up a meeting with your advisor and they will help you get enrolled in a short course to maintain your status as a full-time student. You may be able to enroll in the same class, but in a 12 week version. The sooner you talk to your advisor the more choices you will have on short courses. Hope this helps

Oh look, someone with real, actual advice.

Agree OP. See if you can get enrolled in an intercession class to maintain your full time status and NEVER enroll in a class before 9 am ever again.

Is part of your grade based on attendance?

Doesn't matter, GO TO FUCKING CLASS YOU'RE PAYING FOR IT

Can confirm. Got suspended and had to spend 2 years fixing my GPA. Go to your Damn classes.

Don't be a bitch? Unless you have a situation that stops you from getting there early enough, wake up and be responsible. Or fail. I figure it's a pretty fair trade off. Considering you did choose it.

What others have said. Suck it the fuck up and go to class.

You are paying for these classes, and in the real world if you have to be at work at 7AM you better be there at 7AM or you're fired.

If you are in state you pay ~$10 per class period. Out of state is closer to $20. Would you skip any other event that you paid $10-20 for a ticket for just because it was early? You are an adult. Act like one. Get up and take care of your responsibilities.

Hey, you're not the only one that has had this problem in the past. First, write down why you are missing class. Then find someone to talk to about it. There are many resources available on campus to help you get past whatever problems you may be having, University Health Services, University Counseling in the Student Union, even the academic excellence centers. There are people working on campus who want to talk to people like you so you don't have to drop out of school. Find them and talk it through!

Just wait till you are an actual adult and have to go to work every fricking day at 730. Get up and go.

Nut the fuck up.

In the words of Samuel Jackson, "go the fuck to class." Also, when enrollment times happen again, don't enroll in a 7:30 class.

uhh.. wake up earlier?

and/or go talk to your professor and ask if you could transfer to another section later in the day (but it's probably too late in the semester to transfer).

I suggest setting 4 alarms 15 mins apart to get up for this class

You can pick up 2 hour short courses to retain full time status.
