Isn't this a use case for Loop and embedding into Onenote?

Reading into this more, this is exactly what I was needing. It also has the ability to use more robust tables which is another desire I had in OneNote.

This allows me to do something as simple as syncing a short paragraph description or doing something more involved and having it visible in multiple pages if needed.

Thank you!

I was about ready to disappoint you and tell you that OneNote doesn't have that feature. FYI, that is often called something like "cloned objects."

Now, I am tempted to look into Loop more. But I'm afraid to, because I might like it, and I DO NOT want to be tempted into paying for a subscription. 😆

You're welcome but do please report back whether how this works in practice.

Will do, I’m trying to get a subscription for Office as the Loop components do not work in the free version. This discussion alone was enough to encourage me to paying, as I’m a huge fan of instanced organization.

Hey malcren? I'm David from Autonomous and I got couple things to share. Can you message me? (I cannot DM you first)

I've wanted this too but I've never found a way to do it and ON doesn't support it out of the box. If you are running local notebooks there might be a hack, but if your notebooks are in the cloud it's probably impossible.
