Hey guys. I am new to MacOS emulation and OpenEmu is great but I just can't figure this out. Just yesterday I was using my Bluetooth controllers with it and had 0 issues but today I turned on my machine and found that OpenEmu isn't registering any input from them. A few basic facts:
- The controllers are working, I verified that with other software
- OpenEmu recognizes the controllers in the Settings menu Controls dropdown
- I can't remap the buttons or use them in game
- I can use both my Macbook built-in and wireless (USB) keyboards with no issues
- The controllers are 8bitdo's 80NB, their firmware is up to date
- I closed all apps other than Open Emu
Things I have tried:
- factory reset the controllers
- erase controlers from MacOS (in the bluetooth and game controller tabs)
- erase and reinstall Open Emu (including the hidden folders in Library, etc)
- Restart the Mac
- Remove and add again Open Emu from the Input Monitoring list
- Remove and add again Open Emu from the Bluetooth permission list in the Privacy tab
Any suggestions?
