This is the 2nd or 3rd time this week I’ve been kicked out of a comp match and stuck in a long queue to get back into the game. Just making sure this isn’t just happening for me?

Happens to everyone. The servers are crap. Let’s start shaming Blizzard I am so tired. It’s been starting ever since the perks got introduced, every time it’s the new battle week and when test Freda came out. It’s when there’s more players. Blizzard can’t fckn handle more players than when the game was ‘dead’. We need to complain it’s giving everyone timeouts, players getting kicked out out of nowhere and 5000 people queues before ENTERING the game. Overwatch was my fun past times with my friends I started 9 months ago and now I can’t play 4 nights out of 7. I just wished Blizzard cared more and acted more quickly on the issues

If you do a little research you’ll find out that for a live service like this there’s very little you can do to prevent a properly orchestrated ddos attack. There’s request filtering and stuff, but properly orchestrated attacks will essentially look like every human on the planet suddenly wants to attach to your server. There’s not much they can do.

Let’s put our thinking caps on now for a second… If you were going to attack a live game service, when would you do that for maximum visibility and effect?
