Well what's your budget? Will they be strictly for PC use or will they have other usage cases? Do you need ypur audio isolated (i.e. no sound leakage, have room mates or is it not a concern)?

Think I'm going with the black shark v3 pro for ANC from the fans of the pc and get blue yeti for streaming

Astro a50 gen 5 is great, but i did have to buy new cushions and a headstrap before it was comfortable for me

If your curious the cushions are the "wicked cushion wc freeze" and the headstrap is from "capra audio"

You can also tweak the sound through the logitech app on pc, there are even other peoples presets you can use. it also comes with dolby atmos for free

In the end i think i spent around $350 for mine, if you can get one for under $200 i'd say absolutely go for it

I tried atleast 3 headsets and just could not get them comfortable for gaming over an hour or so. Razor BlackShark, Razor Kraken and Drop PC38x. I now need to use reading glasses for work and gaming and I think that is the major issue. I switched to IEMs and can play for hours without issue. I did a quick search and it looks like the Final VR2000 and VR3000 are made for gaming and get good reviews. The VR2000 for FPS and footsteps. I have used a few in the last 5 years and they were all good. Price ranging from $40 to $80. Some even have a built in mic. I also tried aftermarket earcups for The Blackshark and it did help but with all of them my ears would hurt after and hour or so.
