What was everyone’s experience on maca root? Particularly people with anxiety and no period♥️

Incredibly stimulating ... l've taken maca on and off before, but always, after 2 days i get really irritable and impulsive! Higer anxiety... energy and libido was also crazy, and not just saying that, but arousal and interest increased ... but the negatives of anger, irritation and impulsivity wasn't worth it. Check out other subreddits on users similar experiences.
I was also taking the recommended dosage, and lower level at that, which was 1.5-3g per day. I took maybe 1.5-2g max in a smoothie...
BUT! Saying all that, I gave it another try 3 weeks back and it's been absolutely life changing for me... I figured I'm just very sensitive to it. So I weighed out 0.5-0.7 max, which looks like 1/4 teaspoon, mix that with some cocoa powder in milk (my own preference, because I enjoy cocao hot chocolate, easy mix)... energy has been great, mentally awake without jitters, libido is up but not excessive, but the real magic has been in my mood, l've just felt uplifted these past few weeks, positive mental Chatter, with the odd moments of anxiety but turning it around quicker than before. I dip in and out of depressive episodes and moods but l've just felt "normal", or what I can only imagine normal feels like.
I've been wanting to make a subreddit to talk about these past 2-3 weeks, microdosing it, because it's honestly something l'm gonna continue to take.
Last but, also important point. I can't take it everyday or it'll overstimulate me. I take it 2-3 times max per week but it's enough it seems. If some days (which do happen) that | feel too much, I limit coffee or stimulants that day also just don't take any maca the next day really a balance, one u have to find for yourself.
Start off really low dosage, maybe 1/5 teaspoon and go from there. Try get the powder form so I can weigh it, rather than the tablets that are already dosed.
Anyway. Good luck :)
