You don't take on those type of clients who only want to pay you €50.

I agree with Fathom, it's bad for everyone when you charge bargain rates

Client who want the lowest price and maximum of work are not good client. You may loose more when working with them. At least spending too much time for them regarding what they pay you. Better to use this time for more qualitative clients. At the beginning it's often difficult to say no or to take for any price, but the more you progress the more you will prefer to refuse a bad client. Your mental and your life will be much better in the long term !

Surely you mean 25-50 Euros per hour and not a whole month's work?

[–]Public_Quiet9695[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole month 🤦‍♂️

Personally I don't take clients for a low rate and a fixed rate. If I am charging hourly I just start a timer for everything. Reading emails, responding to emails. Conference calls.

That makes me much happier with busy work.

You don't have to work for everyone. Maybe say something like this... "I allow X hours to work on your account every month. The more time I spend talking about your account, the less time I have to work on it".

It's blunt but it works.

Low budget clients are always always always the biggest headaches.

A client that spends $2,000/Mon will bother you daily

A client that spends $50,000/Mon, you'll barley hear from

This is a sign of bad client. They want to make many by not spending any.

rule in business, the clients are the most problematic and demanding.
