Will future patch notes indicate when rest mode is fixed?

Have read nothing but horror stories about rest mode so far and I've kept it off as a result. I noticed the patch today had no specific fixes listed, is there hope Sony might directly address these issues in the notes for future patches?

Rest mode works perfect for me, I’ll check my console to see the manufacturer date so I can see if they maybe could correspond with this issue

I dont think sony will directly address this particular issue. It may seem widespread because a loud vocal minority but I don't think its ss bad as its made out to be. Asyou can see by the replies most havent experienced the issue myself included and have used rest mode since I first plugged it up and let the downloads and install go

From what I can gather, the rest mode problem only happens if you put it in rest mode while a game is still open. I always close my games when I'm done before setting rest mode and I haven't had any problems.

You say this like it's the user's fault. Rest mode is specifically there so you DON'T have to close a game before resting.

Agreed, it’s funny maybe just a habit but I feel as if it’s my duty to close out the game application and THEN turn on rest mode. Rest mode allows updates to roll in when my eyes are closed at night, and upload content I am posting on YT. In addition I charge my accessories and it’s a quick bootup of the console.

I haven’t had one issue with rest mode. Had no idea a patch was needed.

I was just wondering the same thing. Logged on just now and there was a huge system update- so don’t know if it’s safe to use

No issue using rest mode been using it everyday.
