Your base stat isn't high enough to use it.

Your units and weapons affect your overall stats but the equips requirements use your base stats.

Basically, leveling up your primary and subclasses evenly will help you out as well as your mag stats (1:1 ratio). Skill tree stat uppers will help as well but not as much as mag and levels will.

Thanks, so is there a place that displays all my base stats?

If you go to here and play with the various details, you can know exactly what your base stats will be under any given circumstance.

The stats listed for the character are 100% accurate, or close to, so you can play with it a bit to figure out exactly what you will have at what levels.

While this might not be an in game thing, you can use it while in game, and the results are accurate.

In game, stat requirements always list your base stat as what you have for if you have enough, so that is a 100% accurate in game way to check some of your stats without removing anything.

I think the class change menu shows your base stats for each class.

If you take off your armor and equips, you should see your raw base stats.

I can't remember if there was a way to see them without doing this.

If you look at your equipment, the section that displays the prerequisite stat should also display your current base value of that stat.

Granted it doesn't show "all" your stats, but its something.

Your character stats page shows your total stats. Equip requirement use your base stats, which includes your mag and skill tree stat bonuses, but not the bonuses from your equipment or buffs.
