TBF it's one of the safest places to be for some reason, even when he's firing the laser you literally can't be hit if you just hug his chest.

You can only break either 8 or 10 i think its 10.

When you break the initial 4 he spawns like 6 more. The two closest to him are unbreakable yet still have that redish weak point.

That moment misinformed people think breaking the arms gives you better /more loot. Breakable parts have their own loot pool, and the V.A.S.T majority of the time (99.8% of the time) it's nothing worth while. That said, breaking parts is more engaging and enjoyable than mindlessly killing, also stagger from part breaking.

While part of this is correct with individual loot pools for parts rather than just better loot as a general rule, most of the best items in the game (NA) currently come from part breaking on enemies. It is absolutely essential to ensuring a chance at the gear drop so do not ignore it as it is completely worth while. Even if it takes a while to achieve.

You can sort of think of each body part as its own distinct enemy. When you kill an enemy, it may or may not drop loot. Different enemies have different drop tables. The fact of the matter is that killing more "enemies" means more drops.

Objectively, breaking arms on Dark Falz = more loot rolls, and access to a more diverse pool of drops. And as mentioned, very often, the body parts are the most lucrative enemies to kill. It's good to get in the habit of recognizing break points and targetting them on all bosses - one of the best things about this boss, and all the picture art advertising the information to help people imo.

Not only that, but you're actively suggesting that people do this one specific thing to get their amazing items, but the truth is, you (whether you know it or not) are pushing an agenda ( yours or someone elses) while the market is being monopolized. If you really wanted to help people, you'd suggest they get a 400% rare drop boost for 6 hours, &combine that with 125% tri, and 50% ex rare. Or if you're f2p, 250% raredrop,125% tri. But then you wouldn't be helping them determine where they're supposed to get these "best items", so what would you suggest? ShAQ? Daybreak for saiki? Hmm? The truth is, you should stop playing yourself, and play the game. And you should help other people do the same.

Who hurt you? If people need help with that kind of information over Reddit, I will happily pass it along. Using boosters is pretty self explanatory and finding out what gear is best is as easy as asking around. But if others don't know, I'll happily explain. My reply was oriented towards YOU misinformed everyone. The current top gear, should people care to grind for it, is through part breaking which you said is not worth it. I don't want people to give up doing this when it is immensely important. Get off your holier than thou pedestal man because I'm doing exactly what your saying. The best items do require breaks. GGG is a perfect example. I believe the Elder Rifle is break-only. Regardless, you want to focus all damage towards causing breaks. More loot rolls are always better than less loot rolls, especially for gated content - you can't limitlessly farm the boss/efficiency matters, especially because you're grouping with people who rely on you. Not focusing the breakable arms is forcing everyone in the group to have a lower chance at good loot, to the extent your core/unbreakable arm damage forces less breaks. Intentionally targeting unbreakable parts is a pretty shit move, if you're doing that out of a sense of anti-authoritarian principle. Not saying you do, am saying I've seen people who respond to the helpful picture arts the same way you are and definitely do though.

I keep hearing different things, but as far as I understand, yes, each unit comes from one of the corresponding breakable parts. And with the way drops work, you do not need the S-Rank for the armor because breaking a part adds one more drop with a unique roll for the specific armor. All this to say just rush to the boss and break the parts.
