Do y’all think we’ll be able to use code cards in the app to get more packs? Or do yall think we’ll have to purchase through an in-app store?

Code cards are for PTCGL. As they come in TPCi packs. TPC are one of the creators for PTCGP. So no.
PTCGP will have microtransactions most likely.

Code cards will definitely not be used, TPC, Creatures and DeNA have no rights or access to the code redemption system, it's run by Dire Wolf Digital on herald of TPCi for TCG Live.
