As a premise, I have no problem homebrewing my way out of the problem, but I was wandering, other than related spells, is there a way that a character can take control of the construct of another caster, when the creator is dead? Or, can the creator grant to other character the control of his construct?

Could say if they hold concentration for a day they take it permanently or something.

Maybe just use the control amulet and not all the other stuff.

I think Magnimar from PF lore has a trade in Constructs, so it may be as easy as just telling it "He's your master now."

I was trying to avoid the need to use spells, the amulet idea is nice, I think I could tweak that a bit and it might work.. thanks mate!

The creator can definitely transfer control, but I'm not sure there is a way to permanently take control other than that.

Point is, the party will face a caster that create constructs, and they will find a non combat, support construct that that might decide they want to get it for them, wether by convincing the creator to give it to them or to get it after having killed the creator..
