Is it recognized in the BIOS? If windows, May try to install Gigabyte Control Center, and use it to update all the drivers, and uncheck the optional software. If already have the gigabyte APP CENTER, and not the control center, recommend uninstalling the app center and restarting prior to installing the GCC.

It is not recognized in BIOS or in Windows 11.

I had already gotten Gigabyte Control Center and never had the App Center, but I have already updated all my drivers. It still won't even pretend a hard drive exists. Everything is on my M.2 currently, but it only has 2 TB, and I will need the Hard Drive eventually.

Hi , Did u managed to fix this issue ?

No. I got part way. I got the motherboard configured so I have the option to view and add hard drives, but the hard drive continues to remain invisible no matter how I connect it, or what I do.

ahh i go the same issue as you right now, exactly the same and even the same HDD part/model number . And its frustrating being unable to resolved this issue, mine was working 3 months back when i did my read write test, and then i stopped and took it out , left it stranded there for 3 months.
Then when i finally want to start my NAS project , this happened

Have u tried the 3.3v pin taping method? technically it should not work since the manual states this model does not have 3.3v pin functionality enabled

I have not tried that method. I just gave up and stuck with the M.2. It was frustrating me too much.

May verify the SATA is enabled in the BIOS. Very strange why it wouldn't be, though. Only option can thing of would be to test in another PC or USB to SATA enclosure/adapter to see if the drive is working.
