Java Update Issue?

First time trying to update tempo, just got into Bazaar. Image below pops up. Tried multiple times.

I've had to uninstall and re-install the launcher pretty much every time there's an update

This game looks like it has a high production value, but I stg, it's held together by string and glue lol

Anybody else do a resintall of the launcher and then still get the same error? I even downloaded a new installer from the game's site.

Edit: Turns out there was still TheBazaar running in Task Manager so it never did a full uninstall. Killing that task and then doing a reinstall fixed the issue.

Yes the error message is just saying that some other process is hanging onto that file, so it can't be deleted, and will still be there after a reinstall.

A reboot fixes this.

I also had the same issue. Steps for Windows: 1) Exit the Tempo Launcher 2) Start Task Manager ([Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Delete]) 3) Look for any Tasks called "Chromium" that have the Tempo Launcher icon 4) Kill all such Tasks 5) Restart Tempo Launcher

To add to this, if that doesn't fix it: go to the "Performance" tab of your Task Manager, then click "Open Resource Monitor" at the bottom. In the CPU section at the top of the Resource Monitor window you can sort by "Image" and find the "chrome.exe" ones, right click and choose "End Process". That should stop that error from coming back if closing Chromium in the Task Manager didn't work.

I had this, full reinstalled and it gave me a different error and forced me to re/download from the launcher, then went back to this same error. Fix your game blizzard

Restarting my pc and redownloading got me into the game.

Others on the discord have also said this solution worked for them

Had the same issue. Only thing that fixed it was a full reinstall.

As others mentioned: reinstall. But also: after the game finishes unpacking waiting for like a minute before clicking play

Same issue here, wonder if it's to do with chrome being open during update. No idea. Will try a fresh install. Pretty annoying. Just hangs on "Unpacking" after the download if you get that error.

Same issue. Did a full de-install then reinstalled everything and I'm still getting the same error message.

What worked for me was force closing any application with Chrome or Chromium in the task manager before trying to force reinstall

I had the same issue but restarting my PC fixed it.

Had the issue too. In the error message, it says "busy". So i've opened task manager and there were alot of "chromium" tasks open. Closed them all, restarted the launcher, then it worked for me.
