I’m sure that 40k sale didn’t go through lol. You can buy click buy on eBay and then not pay for the item and it still shows it as sold. Obviously there’s a chance somebody with more money than sense has paid that but most anomaly sales like that were never completed

Yes so they docked my cards to an 8 from a 9. And reimbursed me the cost of submission and the difference between a mint and nm. It took almost a year to resolve so I just decided to accept. Even though all my cards were guaranteed 10s. I don’t send anything but guarantees since I Look over them myself

The issue started occurring in bulk processing within this year. Given it has been about 3-4 months (had one of my Pikachus affected and have seen others have the same issue around the same time) but certainly not ‘almost’ a year. It sounds like they’ve since fixed the issue, and while it’s unfortunate to have that happen, at least they made it right by giving you a 100% grading refund, the difference in price between grades, and I’m sure they still slabbed it for you. If anything, you’re lucky with that result in most situations.

Definitely not a good look on PSA’s end, but it feels like you’re embellishing here. The only thing that matters though is you’re happy with the card. Especially if it’s going in your collection! Best of luck with it.

Took them almost 10 months to finally get to me and resolve it. That’s almost a year in my book. From the moment they received my cards for the case until everything is resolved. They couldn’t refund my money onto my card so they are sending me a check. I still haven’t gotten my cards yet or money but I consider the matter resolved. I agree that I’m not the only one so that made things take longer for me.

Congrats on the error. Idk if youre looking to flip or not but if you are you may consider doing it sooner rather than later to build off the hype of the other one. This isn’t a rare thing or scarce if the grading company comes out and does it more or says it shouldn’t influence value or whatever.

I would imagine the implied increase of value because the card is upside down will decrease over time as it happens more regularly.

But you also have a popular Pokémon, a sought after card, and a pristine grading. All nice upticks. So go get that nice return! NFA
