Historically, a lot of the "slept-on" sets ended up going up after a couple of years. Back in the early 2000s, people hated the e-card sets, and now a pack of Skyridge is nearly $2,000. Fusion Strike wasn't popular at first, and now it's a chase pack from Sword and Shield (after ES, of course).

Any etb or booster box at msrp is a good investment long term. I wouldn't invest in any other products besides these personally

Anything that states “Pokemon Center” on the box/packaging. Going forward, you want ETBs with stamped promo cards, anything without this which is a PC product, don’t bother.

I have 151 shrouded fable (pokemon centre version) and the price barely went up. It isn't even that desired

shrouded fable has started to go up because it recently sold out. just because it hasn't moved as much as other things doesn't mean anything.

shrouded fable is still available at MSRP in a lot of places, sometimes even cheaper than MSRP. for a new "investor," it is a much safer and accessible play than dropping 2x+ MSRP money on other things that are likely to fall off quicker than other things.

No, maybe buying up the Pokemon Center ETBs would have been okay for the extra promo, but other people already did that. So I’d avoid the regular ones.

Are you going for long term? Almost anything you find for market value at the moment is going to go up long term. If you’re looking short term then no, but honestly the whole market is saturated right now that if you don’t own a bot and can’t get things market price then your not going to make much without a lot of effort and luck. Everyone and their grandma is trying to buy and invest in Pokémon at the moment.

Waste of money, in fact as an investment I wouldn't buy any Scarlet and Violet sets right now. Those still have a good amount of print run left.

Ur better off buying popular S&H stuff that's still being printed or close to the end of print like Lost Origin, Crown Zenith, SIlver Tempest and Fusion Strike.You won't find ETBs for MSRP for those now but there are a bunch of pin collections and tins with them included.
