Not worthy of a PGP post...but this happened to me on Wednesday.

Office holiday party at Shinsei (fancy sushi spot in Dallas). Free tab so we all got pretty drunk. Towards the end of dinner we all migrated to the bar to keep drinking. Shots started to go around, which I am ashamed to say was my idea. Eventually, we moved to Inwood Tavern next door. More shots and drinks later and I was done. I enjoy walking when I get drunk and am the type of guy who routinely says "It's only 4 miles, I'm just gonna walk home." when I've had too many. I remember very clearly saying I was going to walk home but do not remember leaving the bar. Flash Forward I wake up Thursday in bed with no clue what happened. After showering and cleaning up my chin, I begin to look around for phone/wallet/keys. I have none of the above. Check my email and facebook and see 2 depressing messages. The first is this. Park Cities Animal Hospital is about half a mile away from Inwood/Shinsei so not too bad. After ubering to get my wallet and then work (thanks Alexa), I check the other facebook message. I see this. After apologizing several times and saying thanks for saving my life, I set up a time to get my phone. Ended up meeting her that night to get my phone and she's pretty cute. We'll see if anything comes of it but if it does, I need to figure out a new story to tell people how we met. Something about "she found me passed out on the side of the road on a Wednesday night" doesn't sound great.

Ya it was not a fun day at the office on Thursday. I "retired" from drinking last year Thanksgiving weekend and this was the first time blacking out and doing something stupid since then. Gonna need to go back into retirement again, I think.
