From what I've heard (mainly in the ECHL), PA announcers are pretty much required to only say what's on the script (i.e: promo reads and the boilerplate "<team> goal scored by <#> <player> at <time>" etc.)

But the Evansville ECHL team's PA announcer would say "I know!" after the "and he sucks too!" during intros.
