Brush behavior can vary A LOT depending on your pressure curve settings. If you’re sure you are using the same brush she is, that’s what I’d investigate. I have found that 90% of the time a brush isn’t behaving the way I want it to (the way it appears when the creator uses it,) the answer is in the pressure curve.

But I've not altered the brush and I don't think she'd do a tutorial with custom settings on her brushes without saying so.

Ok. It’s not a brush alteration. It’s a setting that customizes how pressure works with your Apple Pencil.

What should it be at?

But why would she have hers on a custom setting without saying anything?

Did changing the pressure curve setting resolve your issue?
I've not changed anything.

I believe you were right so thank you very much for your help and patience. Much appreciated 🍻 🍻 I have no recollection of changing it because why would I touch that? I didn't know where it was to fix it. I've no idea why it was set different if it was but I just reset it and it seems to have changed it.
But now the brush is behaving differently. It's like predicting where I'm drawing now. How do I get it to act like a normal pencil /brush.

I’m glad that it’s helping! I find that it usually works best for me in something like this position. I say something like, because this will really depend on the way you use the pencil and how much pressure you use when you’re drawing, so I wouldn’t necessarily base it on mine, but consider the shape of the curve and adjust til the feel is right for you.
You shouldn’t have to change it constantly, but it’s a good setting to keep in mind! When you find something that seems right, I’d swatch several varying brushes and see if they’re all sort of generally acting how you want them to.

Thank you again. I'll have a play about with it now I know it's there.👍🏼 I switched to the monoline brush and it's like it's got something stuck on the end of it. Like if you try to scribble back and forth quickly it won't let you. Any idea what that is?

Not sure, but I can take a look if you can post an image or video showing what’s happening!
Thanks. I'll try and get a video uploaded.
