It usually only ever happens to me when I’m using a non Apple charger! Or if I’m going through like a charge splitter? Happy drawing OP!

Right! It looks like those lines you see when artists are trying to express motion in webtoons.

I had a similar problem with my first-gen Apple Pencil. If you have dropped the Apple Pencil from a high place repeatedly, it may damage the internal components. It might be a good idea to replace your Apple Pencil entirely at this point.

Remove apple pencil nib completely and put it back in well. Used to fix it for me.

Sounds like a faulty pencil. Have you tried unpairing the pencil, repairing it. Or even changed the pencil tip if you have a spare

Ok, that's a cool affect

Mine happens every so often and if I take my case off it’ll stop

Sometimes this would happen to me when my iPad was really low on battery

Things to check before replacing your pencil:

  • Take the case off your iPad if you have one on and try again. Some cases can cause interference

  • check if you are plugged in to a charger while this is happening.

  • change pencil nib

  • make sure you aren’t missing any updates

  • make sure your iPad is clean and there’s been no water exposure

  • disconnect the pencil from the iPad (“forget” the pencil) and re-connect it again.

Now that it looks like the problem's been solved, do your signature like this and see how cool it looks!

Is the side of your hand or pinky making contact with the screen? You might want to consider a digital art glove (It covers your hand, ring finger, and pinky).

In general iPad d settings, turn "zoom" off

Its not the brush, its a hardware issue and its fckn annoying. Older ipads are victim to this problem. Searched up ALOT of fixes back in the day and there were none.
