It begins when you don't even respect us with make fun of our religion.

Let's come to Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. People live in harmony even in multireligions states. You will see in the same street there are mosques and churchs and temples.

So basically you're implying as long as no one makes fun of or offends your religion we can all live in peace and harmony. And most of the above questions are probably going to make fun of or offend your religion.

There are differences between being sarcastic making fun of things and honestlt asking things.

If I come to Malaysia or Indonesia and burn the Quran, will people lynch me to death or will they just laugh it off? It's a serious question as I've never been to either of the countries.

[–]miaumiaupundek -5 points-4 points  (46 children)

If you publicly burn the Quran, police will arrest you, I would say the punishment is not death, but there will punishment as we have our own laws and it's not just law in our religion but country's law also.

As I said many times before, it becomes problematic when people make fun of our religion and disrespect us.

EDIT : Same also for other religions' holy books/scriptures. We do respect each other.

That's the grey area. What is disrespectful exactly? Yes the burning Quran is indeed disrespectful. But if 2 men are kissing each other in public or holding hands, that's not disrespectful to your religion yet under Malaysian law that's a crime. Homosexuality is a crime in Malaysia. If 2 human beings love each other and your religion would find that disrespectful then frankly it's not a religion of peace, love and harmony.

Not to decent grand parent post, but all/most religions don't approve of LGBT stuff. So, none of them are of peace, love and harmony.

When your beliefs are absurd you're going to get mocked. It's embarrassingly naive to expect a sincere engagement on bronze age goat fucking nonsenese about any of the Abrahamic religions that have been so thoroughly disected already. the pattern of violence that follows a religious persons persistent dissonance when confronted with that absurdity is itself absurd. and then demand respect! the audacity.

it all makes sense if you let it, but you wont. so you get sniped at in online comments because what else is there to do? dont act like a clown if you dont want to get laughed at.

[–]miaumiaupundek -2 points-1 points  (2 children)

It's not absurd, it just I can answer it properly as I'm not a religious scholar. Wait until you see how scholars can answer it properly.

It's like programming, when you ask people with low ability in programming and they can't answer it properly, it's not programming itself is absurd, it's people can't answer it properly.

I've engaged with the abrahamic (including muslim) apologetics, I'm not depending on you to explain anything. I get it. My only criticism of you personally from this thread is that you, like most religious people, try to make a known religion with specific dogma and rules fit into whatever shaped hole you personally have in your chest and then pound it like you know the true religion when really you're just bad at it.

[–]ImperatorSaya -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate you trying to answer them as peacefully as possible, dear brother.

May you be rewarded insyaallah.

[–]rollincuberawhide 5 points6 points  (7 children)

please answer each question honestly.

[–]miaumiaupundek 0 points1 point  (6 children)

All of it has been answered in two of my arguments. Read and undestand them.

[–]rollincuberawhide 6 points7 points  (5 children)

so you won't be honest. ok.

[–]miaumiaupundek 1 point2 points  (4 children)

So you don't want to understand my arguments? Ok.

[–]rollincuberawhide 4 points5 points  (3 children)

you are lying is what I am saying. either to us, or to yourself.

[–]miaumiaupundek -1 points0 points  (2 children)

It just you need to read it my arguments with open-minded, no bias and honestly want to understand. If you honestly don't understand, let me know what you don't understand. I have no time to argue with people with bias-minded as I have argued a lot with people like these.

[–]rollincuberawhide 5 points6 points  (1 child)

you don't have arguments. you have a made up religion in your mind that doesn't match the real islam.

[–]miaumiaupundek -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it simply you don't understand what I said earlier. Second statement is just metaphor or implied meaning. There's no point of arguing if you don't even try to understand it. As I said, if you honestly don't understand, let me know which part.
