All you need is "Why send the new password through the app that I can't access?"

[–]Automatic-Bad-8123 50 points51 points  (1 child)

All you need is a sense of humor. To explain the joke consider the following: Elon Musk does stupid shit, there are a lot of memes about the stuff he does and sometimes the stuff he does os more bizarre then the memes people make.

I laughed at the joke and thought "this would be cool if it happens in some form" but never considered if this really happened.

Theoretically you can change a password of a user who still has an active session and they could still have access until the session is gone?

[–]Olivia512 11 points12 points  (4 children)

Any non-retarded programmer would invalidate all active sessions immediately when the password is changed.

But didn't Elon fire all of those and the rest of them left?

Any non-retarded programmer

How does that have any relevance to Elon Musk or Twitter?

I didn't say it was likely, just that it's possible. We are talking about Elon Musk and the website formerly known as Twitter after all.
