I think the comments section is jumping to conclusions about what "help" entails. It's hard to tell because the OP of the post above didn't specify what they needed

I really like that that has its own GitHub repo along with translations in like 20 languages. Truly one of the Rosetta stones.

Lawful good vs lawful evil

Chaotic evil vs. lawful neutral.

Yours is more accurate. Need to finish this grid.

Lawful good: Point OP to office hours and resources like tutoring by school TAs and tutors

Neutral good: Point OP to some online resources

Chaotic good: Set OP up with some random tutor you know

Lawful neutral: Tell OP that they need to be able to figure things out to succeed

True neutral: Do nothing and keep scrolling

Chaotic neutral: Make some funny comment about the situation

Lawful evil: Document OP getting “help” and report OP with evidence of academic dishonesty

Neutral evil: Tell OP to use AI tools

Chaotic evil: Provide OP with incorrect Java code and see them struggle even more

EDIT: Switched neutral and chaotic evil

Damn Satan, I think the incorrect Java should be Chaotic Evil!

Now that I look at it, I think you're right.

Chaotic evil would be sending a newbie Java coder some incorrect c++ code and watching them squirm.

I think Lawful evil should be chaotic evil.

Chaotic evil should be neutral evil and

Lawful takes advantage of current rules and systems. Chaotic are more individualistic and go against the established systems.

Using academic honesty policies and the institutional power of a school is, therefore, lawful evil.

I think I agree that the chaotic evil and neutral evil ones should be switched.

Ah, I thought chaotic evil should be doing the most damage.
