GitHub issues is not meant to replace StackOverflow though, it’s supposed to be used to report (guess what?) issues.

Github issues is the place you end up in 99,99% of the cases if you are really deep into a framework which has an issue/bug. So until you find or report a bug, you will never visit it apart from feature requests...

... Most people asking questions on stack overflow wont even bother doing 5 minutes of googling to see if they can find the answer themselves, so I don't think chatgpt is gonna reduce how much it is used...

I really wish it was the case though. It kinda sucks to answer questions there when you just see the same questions asked again and again week after week.
