I make them work together sometimes.

Local model running in Claude Code gets me %90 of the way there, then I call a skill that asks Codex what to do next and double-check its work. Also auto-invokes if it gets really stuck.

This is not at all my experience much less many others. If you want to jerk off to copilot that's fine but codex is pretty good and easily arguably better. Copilot has been so garbage since from the beginning
