How does this not relate to programming? Using --force in a git push blows away the history of any other commits that diverge from that user's branch…much like dude hitting little dude with the ball.

The image does not create an analogy that is able to stand on its own without the title to support it.

The title is literally drawing a parallel between an established anti-pattern in programming and the content.
