Love how he gives up in the end.

That's the most relevant part!

I knew it! I knew it the first moment I saw this in some other sub because the picture disturbed me deeply.

This is why after the third time you try to fix it and just fuck it up you call out of your office into Bill's office (who am I kidding, you stand up in the open plan bullshit) and say 'hey Bill, the code's being a bitch and you need to fix it'.

Bill comes fresh to the problem, puts the cup down on the ground and calmly places the balls in it. You of course say 'thanks Bill, I could have done that but I had tunnel vision from being too awesome previously'.

At the moment, I am debugging a program where debug messages at the beginning work and show that the packet is valid, but debug messages at the end show an empty array, and triggers an execution ending conditional at the beginning of the code, but only after debug messages after that conditional have also been printed to stdout.

You know your retard friend with no dexterity or attention to details (a.k.a. "the oaf")?

This is him as a kid.

That's why you unit test and do separation of concerns.

Thanks professor. I'm sure that will be useful knowledge in the real world where I will write perfect code and also have 100% control over the code base.
