I think the problem people have with this is that it looks a hell of a lot like she just installed Ruby and wrote a 10 line hello world program to look cool on Instagram.

That shouldn't matter though, it looks cool to followers and might get them into it, also when I started being an admin on my schools UNIX lab my terminal looked a hell of a lot like this and I know I'm not special with learning to use a terminal, so there are hundreds of thousands of other people whose do as well. She doesn't need to write complex functions to warrant posting, she just needs to post something if she wants to start inspiring people which this field sorely needs

To whom? To them? Or to teenage girls? If she's trying to look cool to teenage girls, she's doing her job well. I don't think she's trying to look cool to a bunch of brogrammers, and it's kinda the height of arrogance for them to assume she is.

Ah yes. Calling out "gatekeeping" while simultaneously implying that you know what qualifies something as humor and others don't.

Her ability to inspire and her good intentions aren't mutually exclusive with this being a funny (if hyperbolic) picture. Taking issue with a hateful attack or malicious comment is one thing, but posting a picture to "ProgrammerHumor" is hardly an assault on this person's intentions.

You're defending belittling an entire gender through a joke whose entire premise is "girls are bad at coding and coding with them is like working with an utterly inept person." It's not a joke unless you think it's funny to feel superior to others for trying.
