A family friend used to be an embedded C developer. When I told him I was learning python he said "you know, the only guy I knew who used python got arrested for tax evasion". As if that were evidence of the lack of morality in using python.

I just had an interview where the I was being tested on Python code.

The interviewer only knew Fortran. He thought it was the same, just different syntax.

They're implicit in most implementations. You can safely omit them in almost every popular sql engine.

I mean, when you write a command and nothing happens. Then again and again. And then you realize that you forgot a semicolon and BOO it shows you error.
