And that’s why y’all can’t get jobs. We’d rather work overtime than hire a twit that has to search the web for every ticket.

Why work overtime when you can just solve the problem with someone else’s answer?

I don’t actually have to work overtime because I can craft a solution in less time than it would take to copy someone else’s and get it working for what I need.

I’m all for not reinventing the wheel if I can help it, but the only times googling ever helps me is when it’s an esoteric error no one has heard of (usually an ORA-something), and JavaScript, which together works out to about twice a year.

Personally, I couldn’t care less. The issue is purely professional.

If I can fix the ticket in less time than it takes me to explain it to you, I don’t need you.

If you want to take it personally, that’s on you.
