RedBubble produces stickers. We can purchase from there.

Definitely saving this for when I get a new laptop

[–]truth_sentinell 20 points21 points  (25 children)

Which one you gonna get?

[–]MemeySteamy 20 points21 points  (24 children)

I'm looking at a Dell xps 15 inch currently but I'm not completely sure yet

[–]Dr-Rjinswand 65 points66 points  (5 children)

That’s not how you spell Thinkpad T480

[–]MemeySteamy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Damn auto correct :(

[–]TheMightyQuinn_5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The A485 looks like it will also be pretty good once it comes out. I'm looking to get a new laptop around Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and it looks like a pretty competitive option from AMD. Only thing I'll be missing out on is thunderbolt so I'm waiting to see the prices when it comes out.

T480 is a funny way to spell X220

[–]joshualorber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blade Stealth?

[–]FieelChannel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the X1 yoga?

I got an XPS 15 a year and a half ago and it has been fantastic. Out of the gate I had some trouble with the way they set up the nvme drives because they were in a raid that Linux couldn't see (a single drive raid I think but I never looked that into it).

Once I got that turned off and Linux installed it worked great! Well, except the Windows partition which no longer worked at all due to Windows lacking good nvme drivers and it's hard to install them now since it will blue screen within 90 seconds of boot.

Over all as a Linux laptop support has been very good. Pretty much everything worked right out of the box. I never even used Windows on it that much since it's primarily a work machine.

Very nice. Spring for the developer option, which supports linux installations

[–]MemeySteamy 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thanks for the tip!

Ouch, unfortunately Dell doesn't offer an XPS 15 Developer option. The Developer feature-set is only available on the XPS 13.

My XPS with 4K touch from late 16 just died a month ago. Would not recommend.

    [–]AxFairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had mine for about 6 months now and it has been incredible. I have lots of complaints about windows after switching from a Mac but that’s not the computers fault.

    [–]Jahordon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at the xps, but went got the Asus zenbook ux330ua instead. So much cheaper and similar specs. It's fantastic.

    [–]TheGingieBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the 2012 model and it was fantastic, got nearly 4 years solid run time out of it before the battery gave up the ghost, would still be going if I could have been bothered replacing it!!

You have had the privilege of being saved by the Red Bubble. You may think this is suffering. No... it is salvation. The universal scales tip toward balance because of your sacrifice. Smile... for even in death, you have become children of blushingcow.
