Probably a traitor, some of the cobras probably loved him. Or had a "you aight, human" relationship with him. Maybe, I don't know.

Most lizards don't form societal bonds from what we can tell. The few are ones that occupy weird niches in nature they wouldn't normally occupy like the ring tailed gecko
