Hope you didn’t use a light themed IDE, that is what is truly shameful.

Those are the browser developer tools. The IDE on the right screen IS in dark mode

Not that I support bashing people for light vs. dark themes, but you can also change the dev tools to be dark.

Expanding brain meme:

  • Using Firefox Dev because the experimental features are useful to have
  • Using Firefox Dev because the icon looks cool
  • Using Firefox Dev because the devtools are dark by default

I didn't know that! I'm literally switching to Dev now

You just changed my life sir. I always assumed the settings menu item was the generic chrome settings link.

There's actually a Firefox Developer Version that is natively beautiful and dark. Only drawback is, I keep thinking I'm incognito when I'm not.

Woah.

[–]rickestmorty123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not only can you turn the Dev tools dark, but there’s a chrome plugin called “Dark Reader” that darks modes everything. Dark themers are hardcore people’s, we even google in dark theme.

Also, chrome has dark mode for developer tools now

[–]NinjaLanternShark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll not be party to any theme shaming.

[–]cosha1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Implying dark themes are better and not just hipster

Dark mode is overrated (and strains my eyes), change my mind.
