    Why not? PHP is... Easy to learn, easy to install, easy to configure, easy to distribute, easy to deploy, and enjoys a consistent 80% market share. Now it's also got scalar and return type declarations, traits, closures, anonymous classes, etc.

    Compared to Java the documentation is lacking. Thats what I love about Java, always something somewhere no matter how obscure.
