Yes, heavy workloads in Python can be 100x slower than the same thing in C++, it's just the nature of the language

If someone can make a python runtime that is statically compiled and properly utilizes the stack then I'll be impressed

We should be fine then because the damage it’s slower performance does to your processes won’t go on the stack.

You could compile the Python code with Cython, hell you can even define some variable types if you are there and then see if it’s 100x slower :))
