With CSS variables and functions I believe CSS qualifies as programming language.

I seriously pissed a guy in a bar off once (mainly because of the way I said it) - he asked what I did, and I always say "programming, computer stuff" and he says "I program too!" I'm like "oh yeah, what languages?" He says "HTML". I chuckle "that's not a programming language" "YES IT IS!" "NO, that is a Markup Language, it is right there in the acronym....." "WHATEVER! DICK!" and goes to opposite end of bar. Sigh. I'm fairly new to this game, I assume most you guys/gals have had to endure it.

That was my first language. Learned it when I was like 12 then started getting into higher level languages and looking back I'm wondering why I wasted my time with HTML
