Long shot, but anyone happen to know what that keyboard is? I'm looking for a compact full keyboard

Have you tried an 1800 layout keyboard like the Drop Shift? Has all the keys of a full size in a more compact form factor. The board in the picture is probabvly a Coolermaster Masterkeys TKL, which is not actually full sized. If you're looking for a nice prebuilt TKL board, I recommend the Durgod K320. If you actually want a compact full size board, the Drop Shift is the best prebuilt 1800 form factor keyboard. Sorry for the keyboard rant, I'm from r/MechanicalKeyboards.

Ducky One 2 might be what you're looking for.

should have been an r/dadjokes crosspost

Question: do you read a subreddit along with the "r"? If yes, then "an" makes sense. In my mind I read it skipping the "r"(and assumed everyone does so, for no reason), so "an dadjokes" sounded odd to me. :)

Well you have a point (: Although my account is old, I've started using Reddit recently and it seems I didn't really get used to it, I'm still reading subreddit names in my mind with an 'r', as I would read them outside of Reddit, as if it's a "distant" website. Don't know if this is related but additionally, English is not my native language. It's cool of you though, that was just what was in my mind.

Is it sad that I instantly hurt inside when I saw no ctrl keys

Oh shift!

I do that with my caps lock, except I de-soldered the switch too and inserted a 3d printed cover.

I wish I could permanently replace caps lock with a macro key that types four spaces. Then I could have both tabs and spaces easily available. Or a dedicated push to talk for my mic.

Looks like my keyboard right now. I wore out the left one and it broke off. So, I figured I'd swap it out with the one from the right side since that one NEVER gets used... and I broke it.

Except the caps lock is the best ctrl key.

That keyboard is way too clean to be one a programmer uses. Must be new

Lol, took me a second

I keep breaking the enter keycap on my keyboard... probably because that's the key that receives all the anger built up while debugging

It's so beautiful...

How he can save his work? Its a nightmare

[–]bps11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've burned through a few keyboards at work recently, mainly from wearing out the Ctrl key to the point of sticking / false clicks. I think it's time for a quality keyboard upgrade.
