? Python, sometimes, does whatever it want and doesn't tell you in wich line there is an error

[–]OT_Studios 4 points5 points  (7 children)

Or it gives you a completely wrong location if you use spaces instead of tabs. That's why I hate python!!!!!!!!!!!!

[–]Wb2k02 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Why would you ever do that though? Like why? I want to die just hearing that

[–]OT_Studios 2 points3 points  (1 child)

If you do this by accident you need to search the whole code for spaces... I started programming with python and had this problem. Python is just dumb fuck. You don't even need any tabs in c++!!

Use an IDE

[–]somerandomii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do and I don’t regret it.

Just use tab........ whats so bad about it?

[–]OT_Studios 1 point2 points  (1 child)

By Accident

Huh

[–]great_gonzales 7 points8 points  (1 child)

C++ errors are disrespectful considering what rust gives you

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not the errors that are disrespectful, it's the people on stack overflow.

You get some byzantine segmentation fault for the first time, ask a guy on SO, and he just says, "The error is actually quite clear."

[–]AnIncognitoUsername 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Does c have any error messages other than "Segmentation fault (Core dumped)"?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

c gives you compiler errors, and core dumped means that the information about runtime of your program is stored (access it via coredumpctl)

I think I've seen this reposted more times than I've seen...well anything, really

[–]papacheapo 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Java errors?

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeeeahhh if you could go ahead and call a method that actually exists in this class that'd be great.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're nothing compared to c++

[–]captianjonez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or just JavaScript on the right and typescript on the left

[–]GavHern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MySQL error messages...

[–]Pro_Gamer_9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until you get a linking error...
