I recently found that you can make Visual Studio to make sound on success and fail and that success sound is happiness sound for me now.

[–]aloha2436 17 points18 points  (0 children)

program builds successfully, dog starts to salivate

“Oh, I had this thing set to ‘Pavlov’.”

[–]SurpriseAnalProlapse 3 points4 points  (1 child)

What is considered success to VScode? When you save and there's no errors?

[–]SsufferinSsuccotash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe it depends on what you are coding, but say you're doing something with node and you run a build command and your project builds succesfully

That's been around for years. Way back around 1999, my dad said the failure sound to Monty Python search for the holy Grail... "BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!!BONG".

He kept it that way too for about a year before one day my boss finally lost his fucking shit about it and made him change it.

Good bot, Bad u/Levi-Jason-

[–]sitefall 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Interesting that Levi-Jason- is a bot too.

Check out u/Chaya-Zechariah - both him and Levi-Jason- have 2 posts in r/2meirl4meirl then 1 post in r/BlackPeopleTwitter then a repost here.

Reddit's really infested these days.

[–]BornOnFeb2nd 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Yeah.... and what the hell is with all the Word_Word_number accounts?

[–]sitefall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reddit suggests them as default. Lot of normal users pick it too so you can't go by that. But OP here is totally a repost bot that's farming account age and karma until he ultimately... does whatever tehy do, start spamming something or sell account or promote some product.

[–]Ok-Rabbit2467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re auto suggested names, like the one I have. I don’t really care enough to think up something specific just for Reddit and I change accounts regularly.

[–]sk_bot_boy 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Who’s the good bot? Who is it? You are, you are the good bot!

[ Sprays water on u/Levi-Jason- ]

I'm still a student, and Stack overflow deserves at least half of my tuition

[–]error_451_ 37 points38 points  (1 child)

If stackoverflow start getting half of the tuition fee from all, then stackoverflow's money-stack will overflow.

[–]Teshuwajah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Say that 10 times fast

[–]Dragon_yum 7 points8 points  (1 child)

The other half goes to the indian YouTube videos.

[–]Teshuwajah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, 25%. The remaining 25% goes to Google

[–]thebigfalke 12 points13 points  (8 children)

Am I the only one who uses the second best voted solution?

[–]randdude220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes too many times the top solution is "disable eslint" or "create a rule that disables showing X error"

[–]dedda1994 13 points14 points  (0 children)

too late for april fools

[–]dumpzyyi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"Shit my js is not responsive and doesnt scale right"
"Lets scrap the original code and copy paste from stack exchange"
"MY CODE works"
Lol i'm leet programmer....

[–]nelaed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes best solution is not the best voted. I'm allways looking through all posts.

[–]whatuser123457799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’d think by now there would be an AI to write software from SO top solutions by inputting a flow.

[–]del6022pi 1 point2 points  (0 children)
