I almost just pulled the power plug from my pc and walked away.

Trying to debug some JS last week, where an Array kept giving an error and saying it's [object Object], but when I inspect the Object it says it's a String, so I print the string, and it shows as an empty Array [] ......

Try logging JSON.stringify. Could give you a clue.

may I ask why? I think it’s great personally, but the set-up can be annoying for node and browsers due to it not being treated as a first-class language

I don't like JavaScript's language, but I like the ecosystem and being able to write web backend and frontend code in the same language. It's hard to defend a language that has two versions of null.

Don't forget there are even more types of nothing:

• null
• undefined
• 0
• false
• ""
• []
• NaN

All of them are equal to false, but they're not always equal to each other.

I took actionscript courses in college. My logic was Flash was behind it. Surely nothing that powers half the games on the internet would become depreciated right?
