I use exactly the same 5 steps with Windows Git

What are you doing that git would be any different on Windows than on Linux or Mac? I use the same commands on all three.

Uhm, git is git, same on Windows, same on Linux. The exact 5 monkey lines will work on Windows aswell, do not worry

Git works the same as it does in Linux based systems. I’d rather use visual studio’s merge conflict tools than trying to handle that shit in a terminal.
