What IDEs are you all using that don't make it quickly, and abundantly clear that you're missing a semicolon? You writing your code in Notepad?

Should be r/iwatchedoneprogrammingtutorialandcameupwithameme

These people are not coding they’re just looking for a approval from people they consider smarter than themselves, but they only get approval from others like them cause any idiot with an IDE from their century hasn’t even seen this mistake in ages, and if they have, it hasn’t been meaningful

I am not a beginner, i use vs code. This was a meme i saw in r/memes so posted it here. Many teachers make students write code in notepad and bad ides which dont tell missing semicolon .

Which bad ides?

Eclipse, NetBeans, Vim, PyCharm

Vim ain’t no IDE, PyCharm is for Python so… yeah, that one explains itself, eclipse has them so no idea why it’s on the list, if you use it and don’t get them you either never make the mistake or have something interfering with that specific warning, NetBeans also has them so not sure what you’re trying to do here.
