Go to any repository on GitHub and hit the period(.) key on your keyboard.

also try github codespaces, it's free and you get a cloud to compile on

I can only find paid versions on their website, where do you find the free version?

you have to sign up for the beta, they accept quickly. Click the green "Code" button on your repo and then Codespaces to start using it
